Rest In Peace, Oscar

Pollyanna and family,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I have felt such a 'bond' with your Oscar because my beloved dachshund is close in age, she will be 15 on December 17th. Ironically, it's my 9 month old Corgi puppy who is terminally ill with kidney disease ( they didnt form correctly) and breaking my heart.
She is the dog that climbed up on the couch and cuddled with my father in the days before his death august 7, and we didn't even know either one of them was so ill. He was petsitting for me at my house, and when he told me in a phone call she had been sleeping with/on him, I didn't get it. The dog never gets on the couch. And she hates being cuddled. Now, I get it.

I know Oscar had that kind of special place in your heart, and I believe he had that uncanny ability that some dogs have to help you through the hard times.

You have my deepest sympathy...

It is very difficult to lose a loved one. The whole family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Remember to celebrate his life, and what he stood for. He will never be gone, he will always remain in your heart.

Always remember the good times together, never let go of those precious memories. He lives on through those.
