News on Hoke Dorough

Good Evening Everyone,

Laura and I have both spoken to Pollyanna and we wanted you to hear the news.

First of all, Pollyanna expresses her deepest thanks for all the prayers for her father. The power of prayer helped Mr. Dorough through the surgery as well as the doctors. The surgery was originally supposed to be a triple bypass but when they started the procedure, they found two more clogged arteries. The surgery lasted over six hours and he is now in recovery.

Please continue to pray for Mr. Dorough and the rest of the family. The power of prayer is a mighty thing.

Thank God they found the other arteries clogs now, and didn't have to go back in in six months, open heart surgery is no fun to recover from, let alone twice!

Pray for patience for the Dorough family and for Hoke himself. Doctor's sometimes don't move as fast as we'd like them to, which leads to un-necesary stress. And pray that the nurses have good aim with needles for tests There are few things better in that situation then a nurse who finds the vein the first try!! Oh the little things in life that you end up loving.

I am still thinking of him and the rest of the family. I haven't been able to stop since I first heard this news.

I am so happy he is doing ok.

My dad had to have serious heart surgery and it got so complicated that we didn't think he was gonna make it. That is why I am so worried.

I'm so glad to hear that Mr. Dorough is doing well. We've all been praying for him at the various boards I'm in. I hope Pollyanna will give us another good news update soon! Hugs! i/i

Hello sarah just wanted to say thanks for keeping us up to date on Hoke. I know what he must have gone thru and is dealing with in recovery because my cousin had the same kind of surgery. Just want to let you and the dorough family to know that they are in my prayers.
